Fire gutted two rented homes in a densely populated area, Jl TB Simatupang, Gg Salihan, RT 05/04, Jati Padang Urban Village, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Tuesday (10/11), at around 9.40 AM.

"The homes condition was empty, because the owner was processing something to the urban village office. Unfortunately, citizens failed to put out the flames using available tools," expressed Novianti Wijanarko, Head of Jati Padang Urban Village, when being met at the scene, Tuesday (10/11).
Novianti told, fire is allegedly due to electricity short-circuit. The blaze quickly spread to the next building.
